Korin Abisdris is a multidisciplinary artist based in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, she has exhibited widely and received numerous grants and awards in recognition of her work.

Abisdris creates paintings, photographs, performances, and media art that are often infused with autobiographical elements. Her distinctive personality is inseparable from her art, which moves between the intimate and the conceptual, the humorous and the haunting. Through her layered visual language, she constructs fictional universes that challenge the viewer’s perception and invite deeper reflection.

Her practice explores themes of identity, social critique, and the absurdities of contemporary life. She often draws from daily experiences and overlooked moments, transforming them into poetic and provocative compositions. With a playful yet critical approach, she deconstructs clichés and mass media tropes, exposing the tensions between aesthetic appearance and deeper meaning.

Abisdris’s work is a dynamic space where form follows function, and the viewer is invited to take part—sometimes physically—in rethinking the boundaries of art and self.
